Enrico Maria Cartei was born in Florence on september 3^rd 1968. Since he was a child he developed a natural flair on drawing, a natural talent to translate his background experience to grafic art.

During the secondary school at the Art School of Florence in the fabulous eighties, like he himself defines that period, he assimilated every creative phenomenology and not only about painting art, but also about cartoon and music art.

He also attended the Grafic Art School "Il Bisonte", where he came under the greatest contemporary Artists's spell: from Henry Moore to Mario Schifano.

His grafic works were bought at Florence, at Stockholm, and in New York from private collectors which early discovered the talent of this young artist, who can tell us some more about a lot of things and whom seems to be a rivelation in the Art World of new millennium.

His passion, that translates into sign and colour, crosses the soul of those which really love expressive and innovative styles.
