Il Duomo
The Bell Tower, at the left of the facade of the
Duomo, was started in 1334 by Giotto and finished by Francesco
Talenti in 1360. The base was decorated by Andrea Pisano and Luca
della Robbia. A small door in the east side of the tower leads to
the top where there is a beautiful panoramic view of the city and
its sourrounding hills.
