Wake up between 9.00 and 10.00AM in your nice hotel in the center of the city
Take a walk and reach the bar Gilli in Piazza della Repubblica if the weather is good sit outside and order some cappuccino and brioches, you are right in the center of Florence.
After having your breakfast walk trough Via Roma and in just one minute you will see the Battistero and the Duomo.
Walk trough Borgo San Lorenzo and reach Piazza San Lorenzo, where you can admire the Brunelleschi Basilica and walk trough the open market where you will find lots of souvenirs and buy opportunities.
By this time it should be time to have lunch and you should not miss the opportunity to taste some genuine Florentine food at Polly Magu' in Piazza del Mercato Centrale.
Call a cab or walk to your nice hotel in the center and stay quiet for a couple of hours.
At about 5.00PM walk through the center and go to Vivoli to taste the most famous ice cream of Florence.
See Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. Walk through the Ponte Vecchio and continue along Via Guicciardini until you reach Piazza Pitti where you'll have the opportunity to relax before dinner, have a drink and admire this huge square from the classy Caffè Pitti, where you might consider to have a fancy dinner as well.
After dinner you might consider taking a little stroll through the Brunelleschi Santo Spirito to the beautiful Piazza del Carmine and have an insight in the florentine night life by stopping by the Dolce Vita, the most famous hub for night lovers.
