Piazza Santa Croce
This church, in
Florentine gothic style, was started in 1295 from a project by
Arnolfo di Cambio ad was finished in the XIVth century. The
facade was made by the architect Matas in during the end of XIXth
century. Inside this church are to be found funeral monuments of
figures such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Rossini and Dante (who was
burried in Ravenna).
